Couple getaway with comfy vibes

The staff were friendly, always greeting us with a smile, even offered us tips on local spots to check out after hours. The kitchenette in our room was a lifesaver, we saved on meals and enjoyed some lovely evenings cooking together while gazing at the view from our balcony.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for the comfort and amenities, I’d say it was acceptable.

I loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, it felt just like home! The gorgeous view from our ocean-facing balcony was the cherry on top-fresh air and city vibes, yes please! Plus, it’s just a short stroll to beautiful beaches, cafes, and shops. 🌊🌴

I stayed in the Deluxe King Studio with Kitchen. The room was super spacious, had a full kitchen where we cooked most meals, and a big balcony with nice views. The AC worked great when it got too warm, but I liked opening the sliding door for fresh air. Beds were comfy, and it was handy to have extra storage. Plus, only a short walk to the beach and shops! Overall, really liked the vibe here.

Conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the beach, the rooms are equipped with full kitchens, including a full-sized fridge, stove, and all necessary cookware. Free parking available, which is a rare find in the area.

The two-bedroom suite featured loud, old air conditioners that made it difficult to sleep, especially with one positioned right next to the bed. Street noise crept in through the shutter-style windows, further impacting the quiet, and the mattress left something to be desired in comfort. Additionally, while the bathrooms worked fine, they felt cramped—definitely not ideal for those who appreciate spacious facilities.

i had a fantastic stay here after being disappointed with other places in honolulu. the room was spacious and clean, complete with a kitchen which made things super convenient. the location was perfect for walking to restaurants and the beach, and i loved that parking was free.

the pool wasn't very inviting.

I truly appreciated the Hawaiian decor throughout Ilima Hotel, especially the vibrant paintings in the lobby that created a warm atmosphere. The wheelchair accessibility made it easy for me to navigate the hotel comfortably during my stay.

Wider parking spaces would greatly help seniors.

Our stay was fabulous with a spacious room featuring a full kitchen and a beautiful view of the Ala Wai Canal. We loved the option to borrow beach towels and take part in Hawaiian culture classes like hula and lei making. Just a quick stroll to the beach, we couldn't have asked for a better location!
